ABOUT ROB LEVERETT
Putting Experience to Work
Rob Leverett grew up in Elberton, GA and has deep roots in this community. Earning his Bachelor's degree from Dartmouth College, Rob graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law. He met his wife Mary Dana while in law school and they moved back to Rob’s hometown where he practiced law with his father and Mary Dana worked in Human Resources. They now have two grown sons, Robert and William - and a Black Labrador, Charlie.
Over the last 30 years, Rob has built a small town, general civil law practice in Elberton where he focuses primarily on residential and commercial real estate as well as probate cases and legal transactions. He represents the City of Elberton and the Joint Development Authority.
In addition to being a lawyer and small business owner, Rob serves as Chairman on the Elbert County Library Board and is an active member of the Elberton Rotary Club. He has previously served as Chairman of the Elbert County Chamber of Commerce, President of the Elberton Rotary Club, and Chairman of the Elbert County Friends of Scouting Campaign. Rob has also been involved with the Elberton Downtown Development Authority and participated in the Leadership Georgia Program in 2000. He also serves on the board of the Torch of Hartwell non-profit organization. Rob has served as Georgia State Representative since 2020.
